I think there's been some serious fossil fuel shitfuckery going on with the rollout, too. I drive the busiest stretch of road in the country and there's a distinct paucity of chargers to choose from. Very fishy indeed. Go to NZ & it's a very different scenario.

Tune!
A wallaby (small kangaroo) sitting in the grass looking at the camera, with a hill filled with fresian dairy cows in the background.
Anyhoo, here's a photo of a wallaby from this morning.
It would be a massive shame Stuart, but increasingly it appears that the Uni is looking to do just that.
Thanks Claire, very true words. Unfortunately, judging by the 'Town Hall' meeting last night at UTS, one would have to question whether the uni has any real commitment to nourishing democracy. T'was a dispiriting affair. Nevertheless, onwards we go. Please sign the petition c.org/Y7VMR2HvJV
It'd be a good news story, that's for sure.
Someday, with luck and hard work, she will have a name too.
Great piece, @robbieb.bsky.social
He's SO right.
What a legacy for Uni bosses... to lay waste to our cultural landscape? Silence the voices of the next generation?.
Is this what you signed on for??
WRONG WAY!
GO BACK!
Thanks Wend. Love ya. Xx
Thanks Dana. Hard agree!
Come ON #Sydney, do your stuff!
You ever commit to a bad idea mid-air?
Good grief. What a circus.
Thanks Marcus.
Thanks Paddy, you're a legend!
Thank you.
Sydney's much-loved community radio station 2SER-FM is under imminent threat. We've started a petition to go to UTS, (the uni that will make the call). WE DON'T WANT MONEY, just your support. Can you help? c.org/xnykpfBd7r Please share.
We'd like all that too. But Macquarie is gone. We have limited resources. And at this stage the ball is in the UTS court. So that's where our focus is going.
Opinion piece in The Sydney Morning Herald about community radio station 2SER-FM. Titled 'Shutting this priceless cultural asset would hurt.'
The University of Technology in Sydney is poised to close community radio station 2SER-FM. Here's my opinion piece in the Sydney Morning Herald, arguing that it would be pure folly to do so.
I had NDW's album "Claim" on the record player, just a couple of weeks ago. Still sounds so fresh and inviting. Lovely.
How fucking grim.
Fuck yeah
Clearly creating world class journos is no longer a priority for UTS.
Wonder what pet project of the VC or donors will get the diverted funding
This is absolutely fucked. 2SER is the best station in Sydney. My car radio has been locked to 107.3 for two decades. Support community radio.
The most difficult part of being a student journo is trying to get people to agree to speak to you (also sometimes an issue when you're in a job).
I did some stories for 2SER when I was studying and it made it *much* easier to get a foot in, and also figure out how the buttons and dials work.
So many great people came through 2SER. And now the Uni of Technology is threatening to have it shuttered. It's dire. I'll have a petition page for you in the next day or so. We'd love your suupport.
Oh no! I spent many hours with Uni friends volunteering at 2SER.
I would not have my job without 2ser - they also gave me my first paying job in radio. Every day I learn of another alumnus from the station doing incredible things. This is truly heart-breaking.
Yup, it's pretty shit. But, it ain't over just yet.
