This part is confusing. I drive, walk, bus, and occasionally (ok, rarely) bike downtown. Getting around downtown is not challenging- the presence of bikes is certainly not an obvious problem. If people are struggling with the streets downtown it's a familiarity problem not a bike problem.

Life is hard. Being a human is hard. Let's not steal each other's joy and go around making things harder. If you can helps someone look better, play guitar better, feel better about some aspect of themselves- awesome. Please do that, but don't use our natural shame against us for profit.

I was talking about shame based guitar lesson influencers earlier this week. It's a real problem. Apparently a shit ton of people saw the Brene Brown videos and were like "hey, a lot of people feel shame- I bet I can capitalize on that".

It's fine, cool even, to make posts about what you think looks good. Share ideas, suggestions, ect. But the people who are like "wearing colorful socks is outdated and makes you look low class and tacky" or whatever are just the biggest losers ever and I'm so embarrassed for them.

Ive been thinking about it and I've decided that outside of bad politics the biggest loser you can be on the internet is to be a shame based fashion influencer.
