Our team celebrated the Lunar New Year – a major holiday in many Asian countries, including Vietnam, Singapore, Malaysia, and Korea.

We welcomed the distinguished calligraphy artist and educator, Harrison Xinshi Tu, who taught us the history, significance, and art of calligraphy painting.

New giving circle awards $16,000 to support LGBTQ+ community - Denver Foundation Colorado’s first giving circle that supports organizations and causes that impact LGBTQ+ communities, awards $16,000 in grants.

Colorado’s first LGBTQ+ Giving Circle is building a space for people to give together, learn together, and support the needs of LGBTQ+ communities.

Since launching earlier this year, the giving circle has already grown to 44 members and awarded a total of $16,000 in grants to eight organizations.

We had the honor of working with her on state policies to support affordable housing, increase funding for public transportation, and reduce the impacts of climate change.
