Yup! We are not exactly a FB competitor, more like a FB Groups replacement for now, but we do plan to build in personal social connections and feeds too. We also plan to decentralize when the right protocols exist. We definitely want to explore building groups functionality into the AT protocol.

Hi Coleen! We don't use web3/blockchain right now. We are trying to make Hylo as accessible and usable as possible right now for a broad audience, and then will integrate web3 where valuable/necessary - e.g. for payments and perhaps participatory budgeting, etc.
