I think that I differ from a lot of Tori fans in the sense that I don’t really enjoy the self-referentialism. I don’t think the Live Through This/Thank you Courtney reference benefited the song lyrically, but it’s not a major gripe.
Overall, I feel more optimistic about the prospect of the album!

I didn’t post anything about Stronger Together because, even after a few listens, I didn’t like it, but Shush is much much better.
Great production, excellent simmering tension, which suits her voice. Lyrics are a bit heavy handed, but overall it’s very encouraging!
