In the digital age I never get physical post- bills aside. I was going somewhere with this but I’ve forgotten where. Good day to you

Ah it wasn’t great was it? I read the first two then gave up on it. I felt like he had less to do with that one. Some bits were pure Pratchett but not a lot.
No me neither tbh but yes most of it felt very Terry
It’s been a long time since I read Good Omens but I remember thinking ‘well I know who wrote this bit’ - and also that more than half was by pTerry. I’ll have to find it in the loft and go in again 😄
If poetry about observing the normal but taking note - and short stories about other-worldly events and observations is your thing. Then enquire within
I had a look for this online but can’t find it - if you’ve a link I can order from that would be top
Always makes me think that we could have walked by each other and I’d never have known!
Apropos of nowt really but there’s a riding school a short way away from mine. I love seeing the horses and the kids trit-trotting down the road looking so happy and proud.

January is not
For beginnings I
Think. It’s for
Endings. For putting
Those things - those
Times
And
People away. For
Reconciling all
Your ledgers.
For filing away
All that brought
You hurt. Or joy.
For ending things
In a neat and
Hopeful way.
In the last 25 minutes of 2025 some kind soul bought a copy of my new book. This ended a 12 month drought and meant that I’d sold books each year since 2023. This meant a lot to me x
He would, I think, be a bit cross with it all.
My book is out tomorrow

This does not have a name.
All these kisses
Leave their bruises
She said. She said.
All your touches
Leave their marks
She said. She said.
When you hold me
I stop breathing
She said. She said.
When you leave me
I start healing.
She said. She said.

I hope this finds you
I hope this letter
Finds you. You
Are not lost exactly but
You are lost to me
I hope you know
I see you. I hold
And carry you
To all my places.
You are on my
Shoulders. In my
Heart.
I hope this letter finds you
I hope
You read this
And know this.

This marks the end of my marketing.
So it’s done. Field Notes for the Living and Hymns from a Village is now available on Amazon. I need to upload a newer copy and finish off the paperback version prior to release but it’s done. A shorter volume but the the last took me 30 years ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
One more story to go (Human Misconception) and then this will be in the shops. Amazon anyway.
I have loved reading these - and if this is the end - then I am glad that it happened. Thank you
It’ll be alright.
Done!
If you’re starting to think about Christmas shopping, check out the replies to this.
I wrote a book of poems and very short chapter ones for stories I’ll never finish. You can get it for nowt on Amazon if anyone fancies it. It’s called speeches to plants and animals. Follow up will be called Field notes for the living and hymns from a village.
And then there was one! Leaving drinks last night with my pal Joey has left me slightly broken all day
This is a beautiful song.
Happy birthday Maisey moo. I think about you every day. It’s hard for the memories to not be over shadowed by your last day my love. I am trying though. Very difficult - you were my best friend in the whole world you see.
Good night sweetheart. Love you Jo
