It's not trickle-down, it's more like deluge up.

Oh Melania - I think the lady doth protest too much.
Per her statement "she was not friends with Epstein or his former girlfriend Ghislaine Maxwell". Okay - sure.
Thank God for Pakistan
Sadly, under this administration we are the antithesis of what Rabbi Sacks is talking about. A weaker nation under a weak leader.
Iranians are standing and forming human chains around their power plants. It is unimaginable to think that in a few hours they could become targets, but my fear is that they will.
This should not be a Democrat or Republican issue. How can ANYONE, regardless of party, stand by silently?
Simply put, the effect of Liberation Day is that it has ruined our economy and shackled Americans to higher prices.
She "doesn't know how he does it". Simple - he doesn't.
Trump is so tone deaf that he scheduled a major address to the country on the first night of Passover. Was there no one in his administration (Lutnick, Miller,Witkoff et al), or in his family (Jared/Ivanka), who could alert him to the fact that this might not be great timing?
Good on you Melbourne!
Not a single day of peace and not a morning of waking up without feeling the dread of what's to come.
NATO is showing up for us.
During Covid when libraries were closed, the Little Free Libraries were a greatly appreciated source of books to members of my community.
Last night I had the pleasure of seeing Suffs (@suffsmusical.bsky.social) in Boston. It's a reminder of the decades long fight by the suffrage movement to secure women's right to vote. It's a reminder of what we have to lose if the SAVE Act is passed. Contact your Senators and tell them to vote NO.

Congratulations to Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell, and The People of the Twin Cities of Minnesota for being honored with the John F. Kennedy Profile in Courage award.
It's a bad idea. Who wants these often out of control agents carrying guns in our crowded airports?
Also worth noting that federal law prohibits guns beyond security checkpoints, and many states prohibit guns in any public area within the airport.
This will work about as well as "The Dow is at 50,000" did.
Right after Robert Mueller's death Trump posted "Good, I’m glad he’s dead. He can no longer hurt innocent people!”
This is exactly what many of us will be saying about Trump when he leaves this world.

FYI, and he's not wrong
One minute Trump is going on about how he never needed or wanted NATO assistance, and the next he's fuming about their unwillingness to get involved in the Iran war.
Totally moronic, but considering the source...
Right...we'll be leaving - just as soon as he "feels it in his bones" that the war has ended.
Trump has decimated the strong international alliances that the once had. He's shown the world that the US can't be trusted, and over the past couple of weeks has made it obvious that his attack on Iran was a knee-jerk reaction with no plan. Why would any country sign up to join this madness?
