I try to make it my golden rule that I don't ask for a check unless there's an external force acting against the character attempting something. Which is basically never the case for lore checks
This needs to be codified into RPG mechanics more often for real

Eugh I hate the implications of getting AI in front of kids so early like this
Zionism is going to naturally end up being most popular with liberals like Biden. The right occupies a fascinating space where they're both highly imperial and highly antisemetic. Sometimes the antisemitism wins and they break off from Israel for all the wrong reasons.
Please share and donate whatever you can y'all. Times are fucking tough and any way we can help each other let's do our damndest
Def needs to be more of them. Laika: Aged Through Blood is a good one
Oh that's badass, neat! More fuel to the fire then lol
You do smth honestly unthinkable and put together an RPG that should only be feasible with a whole team with two people, and your reward is folks wondering where all the supplementary content is
Yeah I think that's definitely the funny thing about it. The perceived production value makes it look like a project with a lotta hands behind it, and I'm sure C/C also contributes to that perception even though it's a third party app
And like that's not a critique, just a funny outcome
Another example would be Pathfinder, which is also mechanically robust, and which also gets a ton of updates and supplements
I think the difference is that Lancer is a very mechanically robust system that would lend itself very well to expansion, but it's such a weird instance of two people managing to create a system that's up there with dnd in those terms, so people expect that dnd output
The third party scene is a godsend for real
I wonder if this is because Massif Press isn't really playing the typical game with Lancer. Any other company would go full hog, make as many books as possible. Meanwhile the Lancer community has been waiting on those field guides for a hot minute.
I need to dig into modern protest music for real. It's a shame the same circumstances seemingly don't exist for protest music to gain the same kind of traction it used to.

Verifying pilot biometrics... done.
Verifying Handler authorization... done.

I think most people thought we'd have a few big socialist (at minimum) wins before we started automating everything. It falls a little flat when we've started weakening job stability and politicians won't even consider universal basic income.
I'm currently running a sci-fi campaign and I really love it, I find it super intuitive ^_^
But also this depends heavily on what kind of area you live in. This is way easier for me as someone in an urban and progressive environment.
You can google opportunities around you, but local indie cafes with community boards are also often hotspots! Even if there's nothing on the board it's typical for the baristas to know of some volunteers who show up often. I've gotten involved with many local initiatives by being a barista lol
legend - thank you for stepping forward!
Volunteering has been the most useful for me. Getting connected to your local community opens the possibility for a lot of new connections. Costs no money most of the time, and volunteer work means you can take time away from it when you need to
We need to normalize celebrating the deaths of awful people.
If your reasoning under scrutiny is 'I'm not celebrating, I'm just not sad' or 'I'm just stating facts about the person', please grow a spine and party in solidarity. Sometimes people die and it's awesome.
Own that shit.
I really believe *it is that deep*
If you struggle to empathize with complex, messy characters who have cruelty in their hearts, how are you going you react when you find cruelty in your own? Will you stuff it down and lie? Will you shame spiral? Or will learn to love the horrid parts of yourself?
It's crazy how some groups always get conveniently left behind in the push for progress. Some people really struggle to wrap their heads around collective liberation
Gonna shout it louder for the people in the back.
Trans people NEED to show out for ethnic minorities. The tactics used against us for being brown or black WILL be adapted to harm trans people.
Further, cis people NEED to show out for trans people, ESPECIALLY women. Same fucking thing.
This is why thereβs no liberation without collective liberation. Absolutely no one left behind, end of sentence, no excuses. We need to show out for each other in times of need, whether itβs matters of ethnicity, gender or sexual identity, or ability.
Iβm extremely lucky to currently be living in the cheapest apartment Iβve ever lived in, but I know it wonβt last, and it doesnβt mean the threat of homelessness has gone away
still boosting. sorry I haven't been on, it's just pretty fuckin scary to go through this. thank you for all the shares and boosts, for the donation π

Oh also my first ever dnd character was named Raine, so that built up some affinity for it as well.
I like rain lol
Raine from The Owl House inspired me to just go for it. But I find rain incredibly relaxing, I donβt mind being in it, I just feel a very profound affinity to it. It feels incredibly me and incredibly correct
