Many local first timers came to their first Colorado Rapids game today. They came for Messi and left knowing Matt Wells' team can ball out. I hope that's enough for them to come back. These thoughts and more on Colorado Rapids 2-3 loss vs Miami:

Suspensions beyond red cards I believe are handled by the disciplinary committee. Refs don’t dole out suspensions mid game beyond red cards. Ref crews do match reports. There would be notes in there to follow up.

Felt if Atencio on De Paul was a penalty, Colorado should have had two penalties. Biggest gripe was the time wasting.

Matt Wells says the team moving the ball and making Miami chase led to them being tired in the second half. That allowed them to have more time in the second half to open them up and score. "Miami had no solution other than time wasting."
