I wonder if this is related to the personality typing system- if you just have a bunch of reusable guy-behaviors (jock, peppy, lazy, etc) then there's not much room for species specific behavior or like, species-personality intersectionality

I think the biggest spot where I wish I had a screen tablet is when I'm trying to do clean lines in a single stroke, that feels easier when I can see the art on the drawing surface.

They do have some advantages- your hand doesn't cover the screen, you don't have to look down at it and that can improve posture, and they're much cheaper... i still use my ancient wacom intuos 3 and tbh i have no complaints.
