Trump was the first sitting president ever to attend oral arguments at the Supreme Court.

He did it for one reason: To remind the justices he appointed that they "owe" him and better rule as he wishes. It's something a mob boss or abusive husband would do.

Swalwell: "We have a 70-plus-year history of failure not just in Iran, but all over the world, of trying to force regime change. By the way, it's being led by a guy who has more plans for the ballroom he's trying to build than anything he's gonna do next in the Middle East."

Elizabeth Warren: “For the Trump administration to say over & over, there's no money for healthcare – there's no money for childcare – there's no time to pay attention to how families are paying more – but there's a billion dollars a day to go to the Middle East & drop bombs on Iran”

I see people making the point that if this keeps going, we won't have a nation.

But if we have a system incapable of bringing criminals to justice for their criminal acts, without fear or favor, then we ALREADY don't have a nation.

Elizabeth Warren: "I am a hard no on a supplemental. This is not a war the American people want us to engage in. This is not a war that makes us safer ... No. No more money. The only thing Congress has the power to do is to stop actions like this through the power of the purse."

The US Is Counting Traffic Deaths Wrong By emphasizing the number of people killed per mile rather than deaths per capita, traffic safety groups risk normalizing the factors that make American roads so deadly.

"Yes, building less dangerous cars and more forgiving roads would help address the US’s sky-high tally of roadway fatalities. But another way to save lives deserves far more attention than it gets: Stop forcing Americans to drive so much." @davidzipper.bsky.social www.bloomberg.com/news/article...

Markwayne Mullin is the same dude already under scrutiny for suspicious stock trades.

And he’s supposed to run America’s national security.

• No government security experience
• No law enforcement background
• No intelligence work
• No military service
• Not even a bachelor’s degree
