Twenty Twenty-Five Theme: the Ultimate Guide Released with WordPress 6.7 on November 12, 2024, Twenty Twenty-Five is the new default theme for 2025. You will need at least WordPress 6.7 and PHP 7.2 to run it. At the time of writing, it has over 700,000 active installs according to wordpress.org. You can test out the theme for free at WordPress Playground. Visiting the Playground gives you a newly installed WordPress site running Twenty Twenty-Five.
