Likely sufficient to have a car capable of loading the tire sidewall and generating torque out of corners as opposed to needing current spec car.

Biggest market for Buicks? China. Might need a Halo for that market.

Just know that you are not alone Jon, get us a flight and I’ll camp outside the McD with you.

I hear you but stalled cars during standing starts do not lead to small accidents. They’re generally huge and horrific, we’ve been very fortunate so far. Part of the issue is how quickly F1 cars can reach very high speed, then to be presented suddenly with a car standing still is not good.

Barilla is not a company this household can support with our dollars but seems like a catchy idea for the yunguns.

Lest we forget Ken Tyrell and all his team accomplished.

If we look at the current crop of young drivers they seem more than up to the task. Somewhere out there is the next great chassis designer and an ideal team engineer that just need an opportunity to be at the table.

This weekend’s season opener was a most enjoyable race. A few surprises, a little foolishness and a very large helping of great racing.

I know I would have jumped at an opportunity to work at McLaren, so much history, such a high level of expertise.
Are we seeing RB slowly eroding to the position of back-marker team? Perhaps a perfect moment to bring in a group of young talent looking for a spot to prove their worth?

Certainly modifying The Chase was a large first step. At the end they’ll think all these great changes were their own genius ideas. There is a place for tradition as well as new, untried things, dirt at Bristol being the biggest stumble ever but hey, we wouldn’t know that without trying.

Mount Panorama is an absolute favorite sim track but when it goes wrong it’s generally not a small incident.

So they’re turning away from all the nonsense designed to grow the sport that instead turned off a loyal fan base? I would love to see a return to ‘traditional’ Daytona Speedweeks.

Anytime it’s racing with a mix amateur, semipro and pro drivers the chance for an unfortunate accident goes up. Very demanding track that allows a car in capable hands to carry a lot of speed into very unforgiving corners. Nurburgring a prime example and it needs to be turned into farmland.

I found this to be a most entertaining season opener. Enjoy.

Love how HBO just sticks them damn near the middle of the picture.

This is the point where I wander off with a hammer and small block of wood and proceed to hand craft toothpicks.

Music is the only way exercise is tolerable for me.
That’s a unique distance visualization.
Lancia once again putting points on the board racing.

A fine selection sir!

Yep, that’d be spicy. I still enjoy it immensely and we do still get a bit of compelling drama it’s just not the madness it once was.
Time moves on, very little stays the same, an old wonders go away, new wonders emerge, I’m here for it.

That was actually my favorite Bump Day in a decade or so but only because it was Graham getting his butt kicked.
Just a very different day compared to what it was when you had a mix of independent teams that only did the 500 and big teams with an extra car to enter, drivers swapping cars etc.

You call what we have now ‘bump day’? Bump Day has seven cars in line with twelve minutes left on the clock. One team being sent home is pretty anticlimactic.

Boston Terrier’s personalities are fantastic, great little characters.
When our Cocker gets a ham bone she walks around for at least five minutes before settling on an appropriate spot and then hunches down with her back turned, firmly believing she’s hiding.

That’s one very sweet little pup.

In our house this is referred to as ‘ham-boning’ or as the case is here ‘T-boning’.

This is the way.
Dirt track race, no matter the vehicle type, always a good start with the younger ones. They can take toys outside and replicate the action.
