Finished watching The Missing season 1 on Netflix last night. Holy shit it was a great show, harrowing and full of great performances. I can’t believe I hadn’t watched it until now!

I started writing the first draft of a new novel recently and am in the glorious first act where ideas and words pour like wine. Next up is the fear and loathing of act two, where everything previously typed seems like utter dogshit. The joys of writing 😀

Finding Dune Prophecy hard to get into. It’s just boring. Really enjoying the Mirror and the light, however. Mark Rylance is superb again as Cromwell

About to re-read another David Gemmell classic. Have recently read Legend and Waylander. I think maybe the Druss prequel next, or perhaps The Swords of Night and Day…

I’m in the twilight zone of finishing one book (the excellent fury of the gods by John Gwynne) and trying decide which of the dozen books in my to be read list to start next…

Just finished Fury of the Gods by John Gwynne. Absolutely epic story. The entire series has such brilliant world building and amazing characters. Loved every page of it. #bookssky
