Mayor Bowser has screwed over DC taxpayers by bringing a take it or leave deal on the RFK stadium and Commanders coming to DC. They are literally cutting healthcare to pay for this boondoggle.

As a DC voter, I’m grateful that we will have Ranked Choice Voting in our next elections. We will actually have a chance to vote out Councilmember’s that vote yes on the RFK stadium.

There's still time to include these key investments and requirements in the RFK stadium deal before we get locked into a nightmare of car traffic for 30 years

As @homesnotstadiums.bsky.social noticed, the Commanders have finally registered their lobbyist to the D.C. Council. Team officials have been making the rounds of the council, and since they are pushing for a deal that financially benefits the team, they need to report their lobbying.

The number of first-time homebuyers is plummeting. Why that's bad news for the US economy. The housing market is a bellwether for the broader economy, and a key group of buyers has been slowly dwindling since 2010.
