My science fiction students start reading Tobias S. Buckell's Ragamuffin today.

Curious what this batch of students will make of it! It's our first modern space opera and our first Caribbean-infused text for the semester.

Of course, for me, this is always a great pleasure.

Recycle "open the strait" with "don't built a nuke" and it's the same thing.

What incentive does Iran have to do anything the U.S. demands right now?
