Ranma in reboot episode 18's cold open.

I have both new Ranmas alongside the original boy Ranma and Akane and they're great upgrades! That said they do come with less accessories so it's not quite a great value, but Nin-Nin Game has both Ranmas available for about $52 each which is a much better deal.

Especially when they can do both human and panda versions. Shame back then all he got was a non-poseable figure. Hopefully they announce new Akane and Ryoga figures at some point. Variants like rhythm gymnast Ranma and warrior Shampoo would be great too.

Me too. Remember when the two-packs were just $52-55?

This arrived today and I just got it all assembled and reinforced. It’s… a lot. It’s gonna take some work to find a spot to display it all correctly. #sesamestreet

Odd how the Footbot set is cheaper than Target yet Tokka and Razhar aren't. Guess I'll be getting that from them and something else for free shipping (maybe ML Grizzly, he looks hilarious).

First TMNT '87 two-pack to show up there since Wingnut and Screwloose did for some reason.

Either this is a sign this line will no longer be Target/NECA Store-exclusive, or these were an exception since they weren't actually from the show.

- A group of fully grown adults
collapsed into emotional rubble this week after encountering a teacher title that did not personally receive their approval. The incident triggered mass Facebook posts, legal threats, and a community-wide reminder that the people screaming "kids are too soft" cannot emotionally survive one new word.
Parents immediately announced they were pulling children from music class, threatening lawsuits, and demanding firings, all because children accepted something calmly, politely, and without a meltdown.
This response enraged adults, who had worked very hard to be upset.
Children processed the situation in under 30 seconds.
Adults have now entered day three of spiral posting.
Several parents described the issue as "dangerous" and "immoral," words they apparently reserve for situations involving tambourines and basic respect.
One adult warned that children might ask questions, confirming the real horror is not gender, but curiosity.
The fragility on display has been remarkable. These are the same adults who mock participation trophies, complain about snowflakes, and brag about "how we were raised." That upbringing, it turns out, produced people who short-circuit when reality fails to match their Facebook comfort zone.

Experts note that not one child reported confusion, distress, or identity crisis. However, dozens of adults reported being personally wounded, spiritually attacked, and victimized by the existence of a teacher who did not cater to their feelings.
At press time, children remained fine. Music class remained fine. The school remained fine. Only the adults were broken, trembling before the terrifying idea that the world does not freeze until they approve it.
Community Note: If you would like to counter the noise, the district needs supportive messages reminding them that calm, inclusive adults still exist and that children do not need to be rescued from basic human respect.
The
encourages these parents to locate
the nearest mirror and ask themselves why a second grader has more emotional stability than they do.

Lmao apparently people near me are freaking out about a non binary teacher

And I am watching the entire community come together to dunk on the much smaller group of transphobic dipshits and it is DELICIOUS

The local newspaper even snarkily wrote about them and I am CRYING

screenshot of a tweet from 2016 of an edited dilbert comic by leyawn:

panel 1 (wally and dilbert talking to the pointy haired boss): wally: the separation of art from the artist is fascinating to me.

panel 2: boss: why is that?
wally: i should clarify - not just the separation, but the reclamation of art for another use. the artist loses their work to the world.

panel 3. boss: like pepe? it must feel so awful to see that happen.
wally: exactly. your work is no longer personal but public.

panel 4: wally: and aspect that comes with the territory. to share one's art is to risk parody and theft. it can both inspire and desecrate. we've seen pepe, a once beloved meme, turn into a mascot of trump supporters, as ridiculous as that sounds.

panel 5: dilbert: even before that, pepe wasn't some meme. he was a character in matt furie's web comic. pepe the frog is a thousand steps removed from the source. his comic is great by the way.

panel 6: boss: so it's hopeless? our work can be turned into terrible things and we can't do shit?

panel 7: wally: well there's one thing you can do. take some asshole's art and make it good. it turns out scott adams is a huge dumbass. it's great.

panel 8: wally: he thinks a paid cabal of trolls is out to get him. he praises trump.
dilbert: i thought his characters in dilbert were satirical but it turns out he's just as stupid as they are. you are what you write ahaha

how to insult me on twitter

i've noticed that a lot of people are struggling to come up with creative ways to insult me on twitter. as a public service, i will organize the common approaches in this post so people can insult me by number

1. act like you think i draw garfield

2. proclaim that i am the pointy-haired boss from dilbert (assume a million people havne't already told me the same thing)

3. label me irrelevant

4. note that dilbert used to be funny but now it is just sad, like its creator

5. make a fake dilbert comic and have the characters mock their misinterpretations of my opinions in a way that you mistake for satire

in 2016 i made an edit of a dilbert comic and scott adams got so mad he blocked me and then blogged about it

Jada Street Fighter Red Chun-Li and Blue Guile are now hitting Walmart.

Weren't these Target-exclusives beforehand? Jada must've realized only like half of stores carried their action figures.

Alice being pissed, Resignation Incident SpongeBob protesting A.I. "art," Ed being excit-ed, sleepy Tane, Ren and Stimpy in their usual moods, Dexter proudly showing off a first place ribbon, Ranma with his/her '89 anime hair color, thinking "I am rockin' the old school look!," Ryoga in a bunny girl outfit, Garfield hyped up on caffeine, and Shock doing a Ren-esque grumpy expression.

Word is they want to buy Epic Games outright, but that's the last thing we need happening (especially with one Tim Sweeney mucking the company up).

Heading home from the St. Tammany Collector’s Con, and I will say it’s better than the MD Toy Expo I used to go to! Plenty of vendors, including one with various animation cels, as well as some cosplayers (including the legend Kasane Teto). Will post my haul later. (1/3)
