Israel killed 3 Indonesian UN peacekeepers in South Lebanon.

They were wearing blue helmets.
They were in UN uniforms.
They were peacekeepers.

Israel bombed them anyway.

Not a peep in Western media.
Not a word from the international community.

Kick Israel out of the UN.

Petrol stations forced to close after running out of fuel The shortages come as the price of filling a family car with diesel exceeded £100 for the first time in more than three years

This is for the very same reason that Scotland is the only maritime country in the world without a port, or international ferry links

A Scotland that’s isolated and dependent will remain chained to the union

I know that computer systems are a real money pit, but I hope that future Scottish governments will consider using alternative operating systems and apps than those controlled by the US. Especially a US that is in bed with Palantir.

The Unionists have always wanted to belittle and drag the Holyrood Parliament, down to the gutter politics level, we see at Westminster.

I am absolutely sick of the language being used in our parliament.

‘Russell Findlay makes a direct hit at John Swinney, calling him a jaded career politician who has been at the heart of the "sleazy" SNP government for more than two decades’

Why do we have to put up with this appalling language?

Book of Kells possibly made by Highland monks, say researchers Mystery surrounds the origins of the 1,200-year-old, intricately decorated Book of Kells.

Medieval monks in Easter Ross - and not the tiny island of Iona - may have created the intricately decorated 1,200-year-old Book of Kells, according to researchers. www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

Bernie Sanders: “I think all over the country, people are saying, ‘Wait a minute, we can’t afford housing. We can’t afford health care. We can’t afford childcare. We can’t afford food at the grocery store.’ &
this war now, which will cost hundreds & hundreds of billions of dollars — why?”

Disgusting. It just demonstrates Reform are low life from top to bottom, no wonder they appeal to the dregs of society.

Malcolm Offord is the Reform leader in Scotland & Nigel Farage's man north of the border. His offensive & homophobic comments on George Michael show he is unfit to hold any public office. Well done to @scotnational.bsky.social for printing his comments.

Ireland has a maximum donation limit of €1000 per political candidate. A party can't accept more than €2500 from any one person and no donations from abroad are permitted (even from non-resident citizens). It works well.

Why should any political donations other than a standard annual party membership fee (say £25) be permitted?
All other options allow wealthy people disproportionate political influence.

I can't speak for or explain the rationale for individuals or groups. Unfortunately at the present time I believe a lot of discourse, across many subjects in Scotland is distorted and politically weaponized by vested groups/ MSM and thus, does not allow for open and rational debate.

Scotland is a fairly well educated country and a fairly stable society, with varying opinions, with not one of them, having an overiding majority, so I hardly think that definition applies to present day Scotland.
