Decided to be on my actual account - where I’ll be my unhinged real self all the time instead of trying to maintain 2 accounts.

I’m adding everyone there, that’s where you can find me 💗 bsky.app/profile/nico...

PoD 11: I like the Aiel, but some of their stuff makes me really uncomfortable. Especially in the way that it's not examined as (at the very least) problematic

PoD 10: I almost literally could not love Faile more - but I need this jealousy plot to go far, far away. I'm so over it. It's so unnecessary.

I enjoyed Crown of Swords - I agree there wasn't a whole heck of a lot happening plot wise, but I liked the stuff that did happen. This is why I say 'arguably' - because I'm not even sure what will feel like a slog to me at this point.

That's the most accurate thing ever!

Okay. Here we go - I just recently started The Path of Daggers - here's me (arguably) getting into the slog. Fair warning - I love this series, but I'm not silent about the issues I have either. LOL

Should I try doing semi-regular Wheel of Time (first time) reading updates here? Just have to figure out how to keep them spoiler free. Currently in The Path of Daggers

Middle Earth definitely needed some therapists.

A week of migraines (off and on) has sucked. So I made myself comfort food. Puerto Rican beans and rice - I love this dish so much. Spouse made it for me once when I was sick and now it’s my go to food when I don’t want anything else.

Picture does blanket covered legs of a person in bed (lights out) watching Wheel of Time (Season 1, Episode 1 - Egwene on screen -long exposure so it looks like an 80s music video shot). Directly against the left side of legs is a large brown dog. Directly against the right side, a medium black dog. Both are impossible to move when they are sleeping.

When they crowd me in the king size bed despite there being an entire empty half of it right now.

Started my rewatch of #TheWheelofTime Season 1 last night with spouse. (I’ve read through LoC and she’s a non-reader). Her commentary is so much fun. Also - now that I’ve read further than my first (few) watches, more is catching me.

I love the book bundle idea! I wonder if my local library does something similar. (Great article!)

I don’t understand this - what parts of being an author do they think they will enjoy? This is the base of everything and my favorite part (editing is my 2nd favorite because the story is already written 😂)

I was reading this when I first woke up this morning, and almost woke my wife up with my laughter.

We have a Cuckoo, and I love it. Though, with how quickly my kids eat the leftover rice, I need a slightly bigger one (we have the 6 cup, I think?)

‘What do you want to be called? … okay, that’s who you are.’

Some days I’m exhausted being the house all our kids friends want to come to, but not on days like this

Kid 1 bright a friend over that they’ve been talking about to us for months. We’ve known he is trans and his chosen name since the first moment we knew about him. So it broke my heart when he came in and introduced himself with his deadname. Spouse immediately said ‘Wait.’

Billy journaling looks right up my alley, but I’m struggling with starting - I think I’m overwhelmed by wanting to make it “pretty” 😂

Every time I go to the rose garden by me, I take approximately a million pictures 😂 I see no issues here 💛
