It's very weird how if you help people and they still have some problems, that proves they're inherently bad and should be punished, but if you punish people and they still have some problems, that proves you need to punish them *more*.
Well I knew I had to go sometime, might as well do it cutely.
Oh for sure. Right up until her last day she was enjoying treats and the best cardboard boxes. And her younger cage-mates have already chewed up some shit they weren't supposed to chew in her honor.
All verified, all true.
One other thing I would add: if someone doesn't wanna be friends, or stops being a friend, let them go and a new friend will appear.
I have to keep repeating it to myself, I just lost my oldest rat over the weekend.
They are here for a good time and not for a long time. It's hard, but the good time... that part is really good.
Update: My mom asked her cool sister to ask the MAGA sister her take, but cool sister wisely declined.
Eliminating libraries in prisons is a disaster, completely shortsighted. Libraries are a lifeline for incarcerated people who want to learn and grow, and have few other options.
We are now confronted with the possibility that the movie version of 2026 will also have a credit for "Stunt Pope".

From atop his throne made of the suicides of everyone who ever cared for him, the Arch-Lich Thiel rages. He's forming companies so quickly he's run out of bad guys in the Silmarillion to name them after and is now using Terry Brooks names.
A loosely organized group of queers, poets, witches, and old hippies try to preserve magic and freedom in the world in the face of a conspiracy involving the US government and a South African mad scientist (not that guy, an actual scientist).

Average Texas scenic byway.
Get sprung but whatever.
Also, PCU (1994) exists and the people responsible for that have never been held to account.
You can see it as far back as the 80s and 90s when little Creationists and Debate Club kids would get spring imagining their epic clapbacks (cribbed from a sermon) to atheist professors.
Going to college and being oppressed is a fun little fantasy for Republican kids, a chance to show off their superiority against the pathetic leftist hoards and then get a career in grift when it's over. They don't expect anything to actually happen to them. Which means it ain't oppression.

Has anyone thrown their binoculars yet? It feels like we're getting close.
The writing was already on the wall when people wrote folk songs about Luigi Mangione, but the libs thought it was just more graffiti and ignored it.
I came across this out of context of the thread and the way it could kind of apply to any song in the damn movie... #horrorwatch
This movie has a credit for "Stunt Pope" #horrorwatch
Someone tell me what is going on... bit on the nose, movie. #horrorwatch
Now this just feels like if Baz Luhrmann was held hostage by Jonathan Davis and forced to make an Evanescence music video. #horrorwatch
I also love how nothing in this movie appears to bear any particular relationship relationship to anything else in this movie either conceptually or in physical space. #horrorwatch
I keep yelling this because it keeps being true. #horrorwatch
What are we DOING #horrorwatch
