Having students use paper to complete tasks is in this sense to help them understand how to disentangle a single focused thought task from the machine ensemble of our ubiquitous modern information systems.

I eat it mostly because it tastes good, and cattle are a way for non-arable land to nonetheless produce food. Cattle eat the inedible shrubs -> we eat the cattle. I'm not a big fan of grazing cattle on arable land though. Seems like a bad idea all around.
