Scary times to be a trans person with a public facing job
The rich and powerful get different medical care, and essentially follow different screening guidelines, because cost-effectiveness is no longer a determinative factor in decision making
I am a trans physician and there is absolutely a way that caring health care providers can balance the need to acknowledge anatomic and physiologic reality in the medical context while respecting the dignity and identity of the patient
