I don’t dislike the finale as such and I’m pleased they finished S2 so it could work as a series ending but in my opinion those last episodes were rushed. It’s not the writers fault but the pacing did suffer because of the cuts.

Not that there’s anything wrong with it it’s just always surprising when things you think to be true are proved to be completely out of step with reality.

I was going to challenge that but I looked it up and the average age to have a first grandchild in the UK is 50 for women and 52 for men. I am genuinely surprised that so many under 25s have chosen to have a child. It is unthinkable to me that my daughter or nieces and nephews would do this.

My dad’s birthday on Tuesday and I should get my shit together to send him a present but I am furious that my mum is dying and not him. She is the most kind and selfless person who has been an unwavering champion all my life and he is a selfish bastard who barely gives a shit. The FOG is strong.
