The Elgin Fringe Festival is seeking bold, creative artists to showcase their work at this year's festival! EFF is an uncurated festival, where artists are chosen through live lotteries in April.

Applications are open February 1 to March 1.

Yeah, imagine these assholes' surprise when people with those "scary leftist beliefs" COME FROM AND HAVE BEEN LIVING IN THEIR STATES ALL ALONG! (Hi, I'm from Idaho)

Had I not endured a prolonged and messy breakup with academia, I would be interested in looking at how maybe things like those trending/viral TikTok dances were some form of trying to recreate a modern version of what would have been our folk dances in a less digital age.

With all the conversation around the potential TikTok ban I am feeling...really frustrated by the dismissiveness of dance as an art form, as self expression, and as a source of joy and community. Even if it seems silly.
