You mean the superannuation tax breaks? No?
You mean the CGT discount? No?
You mean the fossil fuel subsidies? No?
You mean the free gas for multinationals? No?
You mean the failure of the PRRT? No?
You mean the tax dodging trusts? No?

No you mean the NDIS FFS

As @richarddenniss.bsky.social says: "You’re meant to tax things you want less of & subsidise things you want more of"

Fossil fuel production should be taxed so heavily that there's less of it, and clean alternatives should be subsidised so heavily that they're impossible to resist

Ivermectin claims are spreading "like herpes at a kissing booth" What the drug can and can't do.

"Claims that ivermectin is a cure-all are circulating like herpes at a kissing booth amongst Americans who never made it past high school biology -thanks to miraculous proclamations by celebrities, pundits, and most disturbingly… state legislators."

Trump is an alcoholic. Remember Wiles’ “He has an alcoholic personality.”?
He just doesn’t drink alcohol, because he knows alcoholism is genetic. But he’s not on the programme, so he’s addicted to drugs. They all have the same pathology & all live in glass houses.

Older Australians to receive free RSV vaccinations The federal government program that already offers free jabs during pregnancy will be expanded to include over-75s, amid concerns about grandparents catching the virus from children.

I’ve asked the govt repeatedly for equitable and uniform vaccine funding & availability, including expanded access to RSV immunisations. It’s great to see them funded for Australians 75+. We still need funded meningococcal B vaccines for all young people. More to do www.theage.com.au/politics/fed...

The Supreme Court has been heavily infested with the same malignant psychopathy that’s infesting the White House;
both are now imploding in very slow motion.
About 20 countries have just had a meeting to suss out modes of escaping Trump’s black hole. Twenty. Soon it will be the World. Enough yet?

‘The environmental movement needs many hands’: saving Australia’s biodiversity is getting personal Powered by individual donations and bequests, the country now has one of the world’s largest networks of privately protected and managed land * Change by degrees offers life hacks and sustainable living tips each Saturday to help reduce your household’s carbon footprint * Got a question or tip for reducing household emissions? Email us at changebydegrees@theguardian.com Gifting land for conservation and leaving environmental bequests in personal wills are part of a quiet but rapidly growing revolution in environmentalism in Australia – motivated by individual efforts to address the climate and biodiversity crisis head on. As a result, Australia now boasts one of the largest networks of privately protected and managed areas in the world, with gifted land now covering over 10m hectares. Between 2019 and 2024, leading Australian environmental charities saw a 150% increase in bequest revenue, according to data from the 2025 Benchmarking Project report. Continue reading...

Australia nobbled this scam early.
Tipping is not expected here. Wages are paid by the set minimal wage, not according to the public’s generosity.
In epidemics, in wars, in local disasters:
no customers = no tips, but still a set, low wage, calibrated on expected charity.
It’s extortion.

🇦🇺We’re ‘securing’ fuel & food with SE Asia.
Now the Pacific nations are trying to mandate security of urgent supply, with an emergency declaration.
Who will support the Pacific?
If this catastrophe is allowed to continue, the only reasons would be selective genocide or the US’ ‘new world order’.

Perhaps it’s more what Australia is doing, or not doing, with Pine Gap & it’s a ‘war secret’.
He loves to invoke fear, but he picks the wrong countries.
We have strong cards. Even the King. The US only has the Joker.

I actually wonder if this ‘dissatisfaction’ with Australia has anything to do with possible restrictions on our Pine Gap surveillance system. Trump has not specified a particular bone of contention & nor has Albo, which indicates war secrets.

A reliable source told me the mines are hoarding fuel more than any other industry;
general public hoarding is minimal.
I’m sure folks are looking into it, but just who will they ration?
Maybe there’s no hoarding room left.
Rations are bound to come for all eventually.
