So, real talk. I'll miss this show. It was fun, chaotic, romantic, eye-brow-raising at times, showed great chemistry, acting talent and opened interesting discourses.
Was the plot/execution perfect? No.

Honestly, my feet hated me at that point, but I'd have loved to stay a bit longer! However, I'm happy we managed to do and see a lot of fun things and fulfill all our plans! Bye bye, Japan, hope to see you again! π
Small but super cute bubble tea store,changing displays for artist's birthdays etc . It was close to our hotel but our timing was bad so we could only go there once π₯Ί. For each order you could choose a print! Unfortunately #FirstKhaotung were sold out but they had #BounPrem, #JimmySea and more! π
On to our last full day of #YuzumumusTokyoTrip ! π₯² The first half of the day we spent in Kawagoe, checking out the old shopping street and a shrine we came across. Then some last minute shopping, getting some tea from a Thai store (!) and we finished with one last karaoke blast with friends! π€πΆβ¨ +
On Jan 9, after breakfast, two of our friends left to continue their journey to the north. We found a MXTX work themed CafΓ© but couldn't get into it without reservation π₯², witnessed penguins in the sky during an aquarium date π§π and - you guessed it right - did more shopping! π

After the exhibition and some more shopping, we went to a very fancy and surprisingly delicious mushroom dinner (I'm usually not thaaaat fond of mushrooms but damned that was GOOD) and ended the evening with karaoke in a special Given themed room with yummy Given drinks!

We're drawing closer to the end of #YuzumumusTokyoTrip but there's still a lot of fun things we managed to do! On Jan 8, we went to see a special PokΓ©mon meets craftsmanship exhibition and it was absolutely breathtaking! Just the perfect place to go if you like Japanese artistry and PokΓ©mon! +
Just a few more... There was also a room where you could colour in your own fishes, jellyfish, or other templates, which were scanned and then added into a gigantic virtual aquarium that filled a whole room. That was so much fun! You could even print your drawing, look at this!

Team Lab borderless was absolutely amazing, really impressive, just like everyone says! A few rooms made me feel dizzy because of my motion sickness but over all it was fine and just really beautiful! Hard to catch the movement on camera, though, so sorry for the blurry photos! +

Yeah, I missed continuing the update, I'm so bad at this, I could never be a daily vlogger! π Work was busy this week, and I'm still sick (luckily no fever) so I'm resting a lot this weekend. π΄

Yesss! TBH, I'm not as deep I to Given anymore as I used to be, but it still has a very special place in my heart. I even got to know some of my travel buddies that I met up with in Tokyo through Given so watching the movie together was a very significant experience to us! π And yes, I enjoyed!
After walking around and chatting there for a few hours we all went back to Tokyo together to meet the rest of our friends group and to catch the latest Given movie in cinema, which was awesome! And in the evening we went to a BL cafΓ© which was cringe and cute at the same time! π

Anyway, let me try catch you up a little bit! So next was Jan 6 of #YuzumumusTokyoTrip, right? On that day, one of my friends accompanied us to Yokohama where we met up with a dear friend from waaay back in the days when I was still mainly active in Arashi fandom. It was amazing to finally meet! +
Hello! It's been a while since we updated you on #YuzumumusTokyoTrip, apologies! We've been really busy there (good busy) but I was also dealing with a cold which has now developed into something bigger and more annoying and since I'm back home I'm β¨strugglingTMβ¨ to not fall sick. Oh and jetlag. π
Next stop on #YuzumumusTokyoTrip - actually, we left Tokyo today. First, we took the Shinkansen to Nagoya, then the bus and a hike to the snow monkey park to witness some adorable cute fellows enjoying the snow and the hot springs. This really was an awesome experience, I'm so glad we did this trip!
Next, Jan 4! After shopping the previous day, we went to culture ourselves a bit and visited the Tokyo National Museum to look at Asian, specifically Japanese history. Really interesting experience! Food contained a chocolate banana crepe with cinnamon as well as a veggie ramen!

On Jan 3 of #YuzumumusTokyoTrip we went to Shibuya to pay Hachiko a visit, stumbled over some BL pop-up store, witnessed the Shibuya crossing and shopped a LOT in Loft! For lunch we tried a conveyor belt sushi place, which was amazing! Went on to visit Harajuku and searched for some illuminations.
Oh, did Yuzumumu and I forget to update you on our #YuzumumusTokyoTrip again? We apologize! Jan 2 was a trip to the Ueno Zoo, which was a mixed experience, tbh and we walked so much our feet almost fell off. In the evening we met up with friends who're also in Tokyo for about a week and had curry!

Today, after chilling in the bathtub and a fancy conbini New Year's meal, we walked around Ikebukuro to visit a shrine nearby and went to have some matcha latte. Weather is incredible and the fauna is so funny, there are maple trees, bamboo, palm trees and even cherry blossoms!
