Is there any good site to find chess tournaments in Europe suited to a 1600-1700 rated player?
I've found long lists of tournaments but not in a very user friendly version. Hoping for more Trip Advisor and less MS Excel..

@samsung.bsky.social The new "AI" screen capture is bad. The old one was easy and precise. The new one is imprecise and wastes my time. If you change something someone has paid €1200 for, without their consent, and make it worse, you then lose their trust. I've probably bought my last Samsung.

I'm a big fan of Staunton Castle. Have a few sets by them. Great quality and competitive prices. Personally after bad experiences I probably won't but from House of Staunton anymore. The reputation is for the old company, doesn't hold up since it was sold.

Nice one! 7.Qb5+ was such an odd move. Very wasteful of time and then later when you had two knights in his face and his bishop wasn't even developed... He should have traded Queens on move 19 I think, and tried to consolidate and connect his pawns with the lonely one on e5
