Cincinnati once had 108 trains a day running in and out of its beautiful Union Terminal. Today, it's six trains a week - but Ohio is considering adding service from Cincinnati to Dayton, Columbus, and Cleveland.

Why Maglev is (Basically) Impossible China tests record breaking maglev sled at 700 kmh, raising fresh questions over whether ultra fast transport can finally move beyond prototypes

Maglev will never compete with the energy efficiency, interoperability, and scalability of steel-on-steel high-speed rail.

Like indoor plumbing and pizza, we've pretty much figured out trains. Let's not distract ourselves from sensible technology that already exists.
