I think some people hear “grants” and think that without them, scientists and government workers just have less stuff to play with at work. But grants fund salaries for students, academics, researchers, and people who work in all areas of public service.

“Pausing” grants means people don’t eat.

I thoroughly enjoyed The Skeleton Crew. I loved exploring new characters wrapped in a Star Wars adaptation of Treasure Island without the tethers from previous materials. Hasbro did a pretty decent job with the Captain Brutus figure. I haven't been this excited for a Stars Wars figure in awhile.

Pretty awesome to see the old GI Joe Command Center. Brought back some great memories. Saw this while at Tosche Station Echo Base comic, toys & game store in Centreville, VA. It's a very cool store.

Just a few more days until Christmas. The kids are done with school and the meeting cancellations are lighting up my work calendar.

Ryan Reynolds told me today that he was #TeamGail forever and it hit me surprisingly hard. Deadpool was the first mainstream comic I got to write, I had almost no experience, it was slated to be canceled and I had no idea what I was doing. We made it a hit and the readers were LOVELY. DP forever!

I've got Aracagorr unboxed. He's due for a hot water bath before I mess around with this figure. Amazing looking paint and detailing on this figure.
