Brooding, textured, and visceral, following their debut “Blue Lines” and sophomore “Protection,”solidifying Massive Attack as the genre defining sound of Trip Hop. A truly timeless sound.

The break and fresh perspective often benefits me more than overthinking composition or concept.

The other advice I come back to often, is “first make it, then make it better” and I’d add, don’t be afraid of making it more than once.

I’ve attended a few workshops on Art Direction that focus on decision making confidence. That said, the focus is on creative ideas and time management…

IMO hard skill to teach but the best advice I got when facing inner critique was to stop for a while, work on something else and come back to it.

Unholy moly… I think religious grift has really reached its zenith…

I’d say I spend about 40h a week… I work in design and art direction for living.. but that isn’t all “art time.” I’d say I still manage a good 8-12h a week of that in personal projects of various varieties.
