Pope's weak on crime, T. It's our moment.
Go big or go home!
Good call! I also once had it pointed out to me that Kamandi is a never nude as well. The last one on earth, possibly!
Project Male, Hairy
Who among us hasn’t accidentally gone to work dressed like Ned Flanders? (Thanks @spicy for both pointing it out and taking the photo)

There’s a weird little stretch of Marvel books from the early ‘70s where the periods have been omitted from all the dialogue, and the result is that the characters all sound like they’re really, really bored.
From one of the strangest looking men I've ever seen, no less.
Three randos I pulled out of my Marvel reprint box for perusal last night, not a bad one in the bunch. I really need to invest in a spinner rack for my home office one of these days, I’d love to fill it up with stuff like this.
Come find me at Booth P182 at Toronto Comicon all weekend, I'll have comics, records, cassettes, t-shirts and this awesome new 1980 FORCE #1 poster illustrated by Dave Howlett! @davehowlett.bsky.social @fanexpocanada.bsky.social
Psylocke! I really like her original puffy-sleeved costume.
COPRA Master Collection 2 is coming May 20th! This deluxe hardcover collects issues 13-25, Copra Versus 1 & 2, plus tons of extras. It’s been a long time coming, so I’m stoked to have these stories presented in this awesome format. Over 400 pages of psychedelic revenge comics, TELL YOUR STORES ⚡️⚡️⚡️
The sad Oompah Loompah.
Happy Willy Wonka Experience Anniversary to all who are celebrating.
Marvel’s *other* Nightcrawler, who was also blue and also had a tail.
Ed Hannigan really could use some kind of retrospective art book. This 2010 tribute is great, but I would love to see a more comprehensive (and maybe oversized?) collection of his cover work.
Highest praise, thanks! It is DKR’s 40th, after all…
For some reason, my Grade 8 English teacher showed us Over The Top one day. I'm still not sure if that was meant to be a reward or a punishment. And my Grade 8 French teacher showed us a French-language TV edit of Beverly Hills Cop (aka Le Flic De Beverly Hills).
Thanks Ben!
All six issues are available at the link in my bio, as well as from @strangeadventures.bsky.social, @blackrocksbooks.bsky.social, and @cosmiclion.bsky.social.
Lots of rampant speculation in comics lately, new 1st issues selling out & going for wild money online due to weird market manipulation & mass FOMO. Did we learn nothing from the industry crash of the 90s? My comic THE MAKERS lays out my feelings on this stuff (it’s also a cosmic adventure story).
THE PITT and STAR TREK are frequent topics of conversation in our household, hence this mashup I did for Hillary’s Valentine’s Day card this year.
Thx!
Medusa of the Inhumans. The first few comics I ever read featuring this character had her fighting Spider-Man, so as a kid I thought she was a Spidey villain.
