Songlight, a telepathic ability that allows them to read the thoughts of others and communicate with one another. Those with Songlight (called Torches) are hunted and called unhuman when caught. Definitely a relevant read #booksky #fantasybooksky
5 stars for this dystopian fiction in which propaganda and lies are told to create a divide and dehumanise a whole sector of the population to keep women as breeders and men as fodder for war. Follows four main characters, two on the side of the Brethren who are in charge and two who have…
Life gets busy and hectic and I forget to post regularly (if at all sometimes). I’m currently reading ‘The Rebel Witch’ the second book in ‘The Crimson Moth’ series and ‘The Eternal ones’ by Namina Forna.
What about you?

Definitely 💯
I would’ve done the same. My babies very rarely left my side while I was breastfeeding. Do what is best for both of you. In the UK it would be illegal for her to tell you you can’t
It sounds like she may need therapy for what ever it is that’s making her feel uncomfortable with you feeding your child
Same!
Since last year I’ve been reading this series with my seven year old. I never read them when they first came out and I’m loving the experience, as is my seven year old
What’s a book you would love to share with your kids?

T Kingfisher does it again twisting fairy tales into something so much more than they ever were. A Sorceress comes to call is a loose retelling of the little goose girl but you can heavily see its inspiration within the book. Loved this one
This one is speaking to me (instantly added to my tbr)
Home with a poorly child and nap trapped for the first time in 3 years…tell me your favourite fantasy/sci fi book of all time and why you love it 🥰

The best show to ever exist? Who could judge you for that?
It’s one the I haven’t been able to stop thinking about for 15 years. I might join you in that, it did feel like a book with layers
Gutted we can’t download this in the uk

I’m not sure I’m a fan of the newer paperback covers. They make the books look like they belong to the Percy Jackson series
Is this not available in the UK? I can’t see it in the App Store
It has this cover
I love the old covers. I have a copy of Strata from when it was first published that belonged to my step grandad. It’s one I will never part with and though it’s not a Discworld novel it links heavily with the series
