A long-term strategy for growth is promising. It is also important to focus on the UK's industries & infrastructure. This includes reducing exposure to supply volatility by maximising the benefit of materials we already have here, inc by domestic mining or greater circularity.

Interesting analysis from Defra looking at future residual waste needs for England. Too much #EfW in the pipeline. Much of that will either need not to be built, or will need to replace less efficient plant. Stronger requirement on heat use (‘viable’) & #CCUS too.
