Happy #FirstTimerFriday to each and every first time ENAR attendee! Here's a sneak preview of events at #ENAR you won't want to miss this year!
Exciting news! We just posted an opening for a Survey Associate on @pewresearch.org's Methods team! This is an amazing opportunity for someone relatively early in their career to join what is, IMO, the most fun methods team in the business. Full description at the link below.
So great to see you both but of course too short!
ATTENTION: NSF GRANT RECIPIENTS
We received a heads up from a trusted source that you should proactively download/print/screen shot any documentation on research.gov pertaining to your NSF awards, both those that are current and any that have closed in the last 5-6 years.

It’s the little things.
The weekly notifications of #NIH funding opportunities is so depressing.
Sending hugs. I am grieving with you. Each day is something new and I haven’t been able to make it to the anger phase of grief yet.
And the timelines for the entire process are also wild. At some institutions, it’s more than a yearlong process!
The study section that I have reviewed for since 2012, and was a permanent member of for multiple terms, just finished our last review meeting. It was housed under NINDS, and is moving to CSR. Fingers crossed that the amazing staff who have made the magic happen for all these years move with it.
I never thought of participating in study section as an act of resistance, until now. Proud to do my part to help further science. @altnih4science.bsky.social
I’m sorry for your loss.
Really, I was going to go change out of my work clothes.
This is so sad.
Exactly my thought.
Reading “The Chronicle of Higher Ed” and “Inside Higher Ed” each morning. The academic version of doomscrolling.
Saw this little bird sitting on the sidewalk. Snapped the photo just before it flew away (and scared the crap out of me). Think it’s a Wilson’s snipe.
Please find a reason for me to get to Philly so we can have healthy lunches with martinis. 🍸 🫒
It’s all relative.
Wish I was still in the Philly area to see this!
Next you’ll be planning a camping trip!
Mark your calendars for our CENS mixer at #ENAR2025 in New Orleans! It’ll be a great place to meet fellow early-career folks and enjoy some bingo and snacks. 📋🍿
Sometimes I have fun at work! And now you can have a laugh… at my expense.
FAFO for sure
I miss you too… but sadly will be on FL with Preston and friends. When your high school senior wants you to go on his spring break trip… 🤷🏼♀️
Cheers to all the women I know… all of whom are amazing in their own way.
Today is International Women’s Day. You know what I’d like for International Women’s Day? Not to have to have an International Women’s Day. And if you don’t understand what I mean by that, you’re part of the reason we need an International Women’s Day.
#BoscoDog helping me with my talk. Clearly, Bosco understands the importance of CDC data.
