Minneapolis was spectacular today.

Hard to believe that Gates wasn't listed, recommend getting yourself a combo sandwich with Extra Hot sauce and a yammer pie.
The Jacarandas are in bloom and it’s a great day to be outside for Ciclotón!
I've loved this week in Ciudad de México - perfect weather and Metrobús made it so easy to get around. Protected ciclovias show how wildly popular the ecobici bike share program is too. Tomorrow though, I'm excited to experience a car-free Paseo de la Reforma for those who walk, roll, and ride!
You're going to feel so much lighter afterward!
Winter Beer Dabbler was a bunch of frosty fun!
Oh, we are so back.
Poet Toi Derricotte reminds us the act of joy in times of oppression is essential to our collective resistance. We can’t wait for you to join us for our car-free celebration, where we’ll experience streets as places to explore, play, and dream.

On a sunny, cold day like today it's fun to remember we're only ~two weeks away from the opening day for outdoor ice skating rinks in Minneapolis.
Safest to set a secondary charge and trigger remotely, ideally from behind cover.
A bench with no skeletons on it
Phenomenonal bit:
House which has skeletons on this bench all year long took them down for October and has 0 halloween decorations. Amazing commitment to the bit
By pure coincidence, some folks and I tried sitting on this days ago and it's shocking uncomfortable for more than ~2 people.
You *could* say it's the real parking our city deserves.
As well as individuals not owning their own…!
ChromeOS Flex is wonderfully compatible with modern-ish hardware, simple, and safer than many alternatives. Takes ~10 minutes and a flash drive.

Where else are you going to find a fun group of folks taking transit to hang out and lazy float a creek through their city?
Minneapolis is it. If you're here, you should join this.
Really enjoyed Minnesota e-bike rebate program commentary from @lucyrehm.bsky.social, who is also the chief House author. To paraphrase: let us meet enthusiastic response by doing *more*:

I certainly share questions about the effectiveness of a shared use path on that part of Lyndale given high ped/bike demand.
(Note that I’m not involved directly with the Lyndale Ave project & I only recently saw the latest proposal)
💔
So sorry, Mary - curses!
Exactly right. And I'm about to jump on a bus which contains... I don't know, six cameras on the INSIDE of the bus.
You inspired me to think that even something like a Downtown Porchfest would work to draw folks in, you just need to provide power and maybe some marketing muscle for awareness but recruit small music groups!
Then add benches, water, bathrooms. Open the Skyway. Tell attendees to take the bus.
Let these be the first of many! 🤞
A future with red-light cameras, ALPR on buses for automatic bus lane violation ticketing, and parking enforcement would be so much safer for pedestrians *and other drivers*.
Aww cute! Happy birthday!
🚨 All appropriate state and local agencies have been alerted and are standing by. (Don’t) shelter-in-place and await further instructions.🚨
Corndogs and tater tots for sure. 💛
The ones that get it right, often do so noticeably well and makes the others stand out in comparison.
Following! This frame is so, so pretty and I'm positive your finished results are going to be gorgeous.
Newer construction meets some of the oldest tunnels under Minneapolis, dating back to 1870s under Chicago Ave, Washington, Hennepin, and other streets. Staff mentioned that you can find anything down there because it all washes into storm water drains including many different IDs.
Much respect to the Central City Tunnel system team, the underground cathedral-style tunnels are gorgeous. And… success, in that we made down, up, and back out!
Completing quick confined space briefing and safety awareness training ahead of entry.
Setup and prep for a sanctioned Minneapolis sewer tour with Public Works. Looking forward to a 70’ descent into the underground.
