Totally agree! That's what happens when you use ERC has an excuse to de-fund research!

I agree it's bad but it is also true that most of this alternatives have been tried. B1/B2 system has been largely streamlined in the last years, proposal are shorter... I feel the problem is more how national governments are using the ERC to cover their budget cuts!

I am not sure if anybody will be surprised to hear this, but Microsoft can not (and will not) guarantee that your data will not be handed to a foreign authority without your government permission.

These ones are quite cool, they can go from ~10° to more than 45° fiber tilting while keeping the microscope vertical!

We spent quite some time looking for a really compact fiber holder with no success and we ended up having a couple custom made.
