Would be fun to go into the castle but I guess we can't do that in 2026.

I loved the presentation but yeah, the puzzle solution felt pretty arbitrary half the time. I even like the idea of the puzzle - I wish they had more obvious solutions but just added more sneaky-attacky scarecrows instead of attempting to modulate difficulty with ambiguity.

I just finished Silent Hill f for the first time.

Best entry since 3, and I hope the next one follows suit!

But where would I put my chair???

7 months ago 0 0 1 0
In a dining room, a black wooden chair is standing on a black wooden table, near the "head" of the table. A laptop is open on the seat, at standing desk height. There is a round mug of coffee on the table and a half-finished puzzle and some papers. Theres a piano against the wall, and some (blue) albums are on display on a ledge 3/4s of the way up the wall (Joni Mitchell, Aretha Franklin, Otis Redding).

a couple of skeletons playing instruments on a stage Alt: Two puppet skeletons are playing in a band, grooving to the music. The drummer has a beret and a red scarf. The guitarist has something like a fedora and a black and white scarf. They are Les Squelletes from Telefrancais.

Showed an early prototype of my nonogram archaeology game at full indie tonight and got a lot of great feedback!

Hoping to fix up a lot of the confusing stuff before next month's event.

I remember loving StarEdit!

But for me the first step was Hypercard in the school computer lab. I used to love making little adventure games.

My boyfriend said he "wasn't very productive today except put up a shelf" which I think is actually like, peak productivity. If I'm feeling some protestant guilt I dunno anything else that would feel more productive tbh

Well, I can't fucking wait to do my FULL cover reveal for PolyCorpse! Here's a tiny taste for now (by the exceptionally talented @vetyyr.bsky.social)
With the illustration complete, I'm just waiting on interior/exterior design. Then I'll need to tackle the marketing/launch/review side. Stay tuned!

1. LLM-generated code tries to run code from online software packages. Which is normal but
2. The packages don’t exist. Which would normally cause an error but
3. Nefarious people have made malware under the package names that LLMs make up most often. So
4. Now the LLM code points to malware.

Honestly - when I was 7 my older brother had a really cool friend who was really into JRPGs.

I wanted to be cool so I started figuring out how to make them.

Somewhere inside I think I just want to be seen and valued from the stories I can tell with games.

I think burnout actually made it hard to enjoy discovering new music - maybe dopamine being low or something. Now that I'm self-employed I've been going back and seeing what I missed in the last couple years.

do youth today even have a personal relationship with The King of All Cosmos?

sad if not - what do they think their earthly possessions are for if not the stars in the heavens above?
