I want it in the sense that I want them to stop messing with 4, adding systems that don't integrate well and bloating it with worlds and items I don't need. Even if I stop buying packs, there are still the endless updates to fix bugs new packs introduce

Why is it so...

Make a club with your sim as leader, call it “the royal court,” have your sim become a celebrity and enter the politician career, enact policies thru NAPs, create a rival sim, have them use blackmail on your main sim the overthrow them in the club system: there you go, that’s 80% of the pack

I find these dual systems very frustrating, and it’s one reason why I hope this really is the last EP. I don’t need more packs that just iterate on the same ideas and contribute more bloat to the game without letting you tell new stories.

Hopefully they don’t turn blank after saving!

I do really like this text, but, as with everything in the sims 4, there is no specific tuning to it so it happens every time I have a couple break up! Which renders it kind of meaningless

I feel very similarly, as someone who wants the game to be more than a dollhouse simulator, to lead me into unexpected chaos, this EP is just not that, and unfortunately, I think that is not something the developers are interested in trying to make happen anymore. Gameplay objects are great tho

I think it isn't possible to execute a system well when it's going to be followed by an indeterminate # of DLCs (because they have no plan for the future of the sims besides pumping out more Sims 4 packs). Even a good system will inevitably by eclipsed by all the future content it can't account for.

Maybe you could use the challenge system to have your sim get expelled, even! I’m not especially interested in having my sims do reality shows, so I’m thinking of other ways I could use that feature.

I know this is cynical, but it feels like they intentionally limited the small business lot type (needs to be owned, disappears after last sim in household dies, has to close after 24 hrs) so that we could be excited about this new lot type which is the same but without those limitations.
