29 Today

28 was maybe the most polar year of my entire life. The highest highs and the lowest lows. I laughed a lot. I cried more this year than any other year. First full year straight edge.

Of course I submitted Ratchet & Clank and Kingdom Hearts stuff as always. Daringly submitting Yugioh Forbidden Memories which I think would be a spectacle if it gets in. First time submitting Jak and Daxter to any event. Would absolutely love to run for GDQ again

16. Yu-Gi-Oh! The Falsebound Kingdom

Obviously my love for FM is long documented, but this is probably my 2nd favorite YGO game and a very underrated one at that. Idk too many people who have played it, but its basically a turn based RPG with monsters as your party. It's pretty long, but one day

Supposedly using the guide and following his speedrun route makes the game significantly more digestible. I've been very interested ever since just to see what it's like.

15. Ephemeral Fantasia

Now HERE'S a crazy one. So I've owned this game since I was a kid and always been weirdly drawn to it. Apparently, the game is a mess and very confusing, but I heard a story about a well detailed speedrun guide some Japanese runner made years ago.

14. Gears of War

One of my favorite games of all time. Unfortunately, it's pretty long and there isn't a ton of tech or anything minus some stuff in Act 3. I'm sure one day I'll give it a go though. More people need to play this game.

13. Medal of Honor: Rising Sun

Apparently sometime in 2022 I said I would one day run this. I never did, but we could change that ;) The game doesn't seem to difficult so again, just a matter of time.

12. Perfect Dark

Again, inevitable. I've never ran an N64 game before, but when I figure out the setup for it I'd love to try my hand at this. One of my favorite games of all time and again I rarely talk about it. I've heard the learning curve is steep but I'm open to the challenge.

11. Defender

This was the very first PS2 game I ever owned and has a special place in my heart. One of the few games I played with my dad. I haven't played it in years, and the run is seemingly unexplored, so I would love to at least give this a try for old time sake.

10. Jak 3

ngl forgot I never actually ran this LMAO. Again, inevitable. Just gotta be the right place and right time. I want to go back and give Jak II a proper second try this year, so maybe it will naturally evolve into trying this out.

9. Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction

I've wanted to run this for a while, it's just a matter of time. My list of Ratchet related speedgoals is seemingly never ending. However, the idea of running a Rac game I've never ran and learning from scratch is very appealing. One day...

8. Berserk: Millennium Falcon Hen Seima Senki no Shō

I watched Awrie play this a few months ago, and as a big Berserk fan of course I'm intrigued. This will also probably happen this year sometime.

7. Spyro: Year of the Dragon

This one's inevitable. It will happen. Probably soon tbh. Dylan and I have to find time where were not busy (so never actually oopsies) and he's offered to crash course me. I've already dabbled a decent bit on my own over the years.

6. Toy Story

Here's a funny one. I've wanted to run this forever because this is the only game my brother has ran and I would love for us both to be on the same leaderboard. I've tried a few times, but man this game is HARD and takes a lot of patience 😭�

5. Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix

I can't believe I forgot this one lmao. I love running the first game so much, I'm sure I will get around to this at some point. Just gotta be the right time and right place I guess. I've thrown around the idea of blind racing this like I did with the first game.

.4 Orphen Scion of Sorcery

Fond memories playing this as a kid. Very underrated game. Would love to get to this one day. Again, wanted to run another RPG besides Kingdom Hearts and wanted to shine some light on a game not many people know about.

Not something I talk about often, but I love .hack (games, anime, etc) and I wanted another RPG to run besides Kingdom Hearts. Tried to run it offline at the height of my depression in 2023 and never made it far. One day I’ll try again
