For sure. If you are following a lot of designers, it’s very obvious you should discuss work in progress and do it early. I am glad TTGDA exists now to help with lesser-known things like contract expectations.
I thank my lucky stars that my first game was a co-design with David. He knew the ropes and I could just take my cues from him. 😅
