As someone who fell into the litrpg hole about 3 years ago with The Wandering Inn, I've had my eye on DCC for a while now. My only hesitancy comes from it coming off a bit too "videogame-y"

What would you say are some major draws that got you into reading it? What keeps you coming back?

I'm tuned into the #fabtcg design team, I've had my Oly deckbox on my desk for MONTHS trying to figure ANYTHING out. And here we are.

No problem! I often find it helpful to give the video to someone unfamiliar with it to see if they follow along, even if they know FaB but haven't seen the match, that way you can see what someone who hasn't spent hours editing it or played the game might see from it!

It would be much better served as small snippets of gameplay, potentially zoomed in so your audience knows what to focus on, and maybe explainer VO.

To be honest, they're largely nonsensical. I think the full game goes by way too quickly for any sense to be made of the game. I think short content would be better served as small slices of funny/unique interactions or scenarios that wouldn't happen often (like 10 steam counters on a hyper driver?)

Remembrance being banned would make me a sad panda because it's some of the only counterplay Riptide has into his worst matchup currently. But I understand the calls for the ban since 6 copies in a game just makes it go for 20 minutes longer.

I wouldn't call the ANQ packs chaff, because most of the Cs and Rs I've seen from it are generic staples from older sets, sets that may not necessarily be accessible to newer players.

I can only imagine how hard finding a playset of Looking for a scrap might be for some with it's one set print.
