Look I don’t want to talk about the pace at which I’m doing this, but I’m now done with 7/10 skeins and it is getting close to as long as me. 🧶

Vivid green grass with many sizable (large peas) pieces of hail visible. A white woman’s index finger is pouting to one that is substantially larger than her fingernail, at least triple the size of the other pieces of hail.

Someday I will find a better way of realizing it’s hailing beyond “that is WAY too loud to just be rain”

Happy I was inside and not driving for this round of ice flung from the sky

"Just got a report from the Undersea Medical Officer." All four astronauts are "green" i.e. medically doing great and "ready to be extracted as soon as possible"

A rendition of the earth set photo from the Artemis 2 crew drawn in colored pencils on white paper. Behind the Earth is black from a combination of colored pencils and sharpie markers, with ragged edges all the way around. The moons surface is loosely shaded in gray and browns with the indication of craters and a rough edge to toss upper silhouette.

Drew it. Experiments with colored pencil (& sharpie for some black). 🔭🐡

EDT, April 6, 2026, over the Moon’s curved limb in this photo captured by the Artemis II crew during their journey around the far side of the Moon. Orientale basin is perched on the edge of the visible lunar surface. Hertzsprung Basin appears as two subtle concentric rings, which are interrupted by Vavilov, a younger crater superimposed over the older structure. The lines of indentations are secondary crater chains formed by ejecta from the massive impact that created Orientale.

One of my favorite Artemis II shots so far: a different kind of Earthrise. Double crescents!

(Another difference: Strictly speaking, it is an Earthset.) 🧪🔭

Relieved to see that #ArtemisII has safely launched - I hope the crew have an extremely uneventful trip and take some extremely good photos.

Post it notes. Write every single name down on the post it note first. BEFORE you write it in the book. (Also bring your favorite pen.)

Very fun weather alert yesterday, in spite of me not registering the loud explosion at all.

If you are immunocompromised in any capacity, CDC advice is to get it early (any time over 19). I got mine last year and the pharmacist said she was glad I was doing it - she’d seen people younger than me coming down with shingles.

The inside of the pamphlet, which has colored foil for holding forty needles and a needle threader. About 1/3 of the needles are still in place.

I understand the cereal based recipe.

I don’t understand forty needles and a needle threader in the same packet.
