I'm stunned how many people don't know that there IS a side of the moon that is always pointing away from the earth AND (despite the name of a Pink Floyd album) it in NOT always dark.

US gasoline average has gone from $2.80 / gallon to $4.12/gallon in around 2 months. This does not build in 100% of the increased oil prices. Gasoline could average $4.50 to $5.00 per gallon in a few months.

Apparently the Metaverse is shutting down. Now waiting to hear stories about people that made large "investments" in the new "reality" losing everything.
Last month I got anti-EV hate when I pointed out that EVs cost less to fill up than gas powered cars. Today, I get anti-EV hate when I point out that EVs now cost MUCH less to fill up.

Wow... I should have read the article first. 6kWh in just the refining. Sure. However, another 4-6 kWh in all of the other steps.
I just did basic math on the infografic.... A 35% loss would be around 12kWk (33.7 *. 35%)
