Gas prices could soon jump above $5 per gallon if the Iran war drags on, JPMorgan says The average gas price jumped above $4 per gallon for the first time since 2022 amid the war in Iran. JPMorgan warns that $5 is in sight for US drivers.

US gasoline average has gone from $2.80 / gallon to $4.12/gallon in around 2 months. This does not build in 100% of the increased oil prices. Gasoline could average $4.50 to $5.00 per gallon in a few months.

Last month I got anti-EV hate when I pointed out that EVs cost less to fill up than gas powered cars. Today, I get anti-EV hate when I point out that EVs now cost MUCH less to fill up.
