Inhibitor works well for that for late game for the anti heal. Otherwise could build decay, healbane always works.
Hunters aura also gives you resist shred and it's your big power spike. Pushing that item early makes you basically unkilliable 1v1 for a while
My idea with this is more to pivot your active items to hard counters. Be the ultimate pick where you can grab someone silence them slow them disarm them whatever make them a useless lump for their build while your team kills em.
With slow + silence + curse you can lock down an Infernus for a whil

I've basically gone to Deadlock for a similar reason. Very dynamic, still has the DotA DNA in there, just much more fun to play personally.

...that and there's no one in the Gem Islands who can make lightwire capture tools for the Ranger Division like he can. He's a bit of an idiot savant, but he's too endearing for anyone to call him an idiot.~
It is pretty tight in that you'll have about the same hit and crit rate assuming a normal encoutner at each level despite your bonuses getting absurd.
Its also because you crit on a +10 over the target so letting people get much bigger numbers then normal doubles as increasing their crits too.
For me the only things I really disliked was the stupid amount of 2 HP hazard damage and maybe not having every boss hit you for 2 right off the rip. The hazards at least got a patch.
Otherwise the game is definitely harder but the combat has such a fun flow to it once you really learn it.

Its a bit of a surprise going in but you do quickly get the picture that Silksong was made to be the next DLC after Godhome. Which was extremely difficult itself, and instead of gentle on onboarding the game assumes that you're already very good at hollow knight and continues from there.
It's one of my peeves with PF2. So much of it is so tightly designed to specifically make sure that players can NOT try to break the game like was possible in PF1. And while, I do kinda get it, i also find it so annoying how hard that game makes you fight for a +1 or god forbid a +2.
