Batu Kamara was building a stable future at St. Luke’s Plaza when a tornado changed everything.
With support from the American Red Cross and St. Luke's Community Foundation, and programming through Operation Pathways, she was able to rebuild and move forward stronger.
Since 2019, students from @AmericanU’s College of Arts and Sciences Leadership and Ethical Development Program have worked alongside residents, now expanding to Roundtree through storytelling and engagement.
We are excited to share the results in the coming months.
