I really loved the question about my age of peak alcohol consumption. Way too young! In at least this way, I am much wiser than I was as a reckless youngster.
So sorry to read this. Take care.
My daughter has a capstone project (for 8th grade) on mocktails and how they have impacted drinking culture. She put together a survey for this project, if you are so inclined to take it, feel free:

Remember when Trump threatened to wipe out a whole civilization? And then backed out of that and talked about forming a deal with Iran? And then dropped that and went to a UFC fight as negotiations fell apart? And then unveiled a triumphal arch and a photo of himself as Jesus?
That was this week.
Good stuff! A major take-away is that students are crowding into majors based on decades-old economic trends. The recommendation is to specialize across traditional disciplines, e.g. biology and computation, business and data analytics.
The last time I tried to engage with Jay Bhattacharya in dialogue I ended up on administrative leave. 🤷♀️

2. Democratic president fixes the economy.
3. People get impatient about things not being as good as they used to be so they vote Republican.

These proposed cuts to our scientific enterprise (e.g., NIH & NSF) would jeopardize training, research, and innovation driving our economy.
We're living through the doom loop once again.
They have thus far only suspended this dumb policy. Here’s hoping they quietly drop it for good.

Hey, that’s great! Too bad the front office didn’t replace Dever’s bat or add bullpen depth!
