All my first four debut cards together! Looking forward to prerelease, who’s going?

A lot of people say it sucks, but a one mana unconditional removal when you're behind, and 4/4 worth of stats at worst when you're ahead seems pretty good to me!

I think this is genuinely my favourite card from the precons, it's so cool

I think it's really cool to see a card that enters untapped if you're Player 3/4, especially in a precon. Exactly the type of land I was hoping to see (though I do wish they'd print more bond lands in precons)

I will only play simic if I can splash black but this is probably the one commander I'm most interested in out of the four precons so far

Primo, the Unbounded {X}{G}{G}{U} Legendary Creature — Fractal Wolf Trample Primo enters with twice X +1/+1 counters on it. Whenever one or more creatures you control with base power 0 deal combat damage to a player, create a 0/0 green and blue Fractal creature token. Primo looks like a really interesting commander, but you've got to think bigger than Fractals!
Slime Against Humanity is the obvious option, but it's also a very cool Earthbending commander, and works great for decks that animate artifacts!

Most likely, and it's a cast trigger so you can't reanimate it either. I just love the flexibility

I will likely be buying five more of these just so I always have one for any Jund deck I build. Not having an extra for Prossh alone is criminal

Gluttonous Hellkite Creature — Dragon When you cast this spell, each player sacrifices X creatures. This creature enters with two +1/+1 counters on it for each creature sacrificed this way. Flying, trample Its maw opens, and entire species disappear. 3 / 3

One card I'm absolutely obsessed with is Gluttonous Hellkite, and I can't believe it's one of the most cut cards from the Disa precon. Even outside of sacrifice decks, a 3 mana 3/3 with flying and trample is just value! And playing it later in a game? Ohhh boy

And frankly I'm fucking tired of having to pretend that isnt a fucking insane thing to say in response to "please don't support the hate monger lady's soggy, reheated nachos"

Funnily enough, not only is it strictly better, but it's also a huge buff to Voltron commanders that care about triggered abilities.
I'll be hunting one down for my Katara deck now :D

Temur Battle Rage 1R Instant Target creature gains double strike until end of turn. Ferocious — That creature also gains trample until end of turn if you control a creature with power 4 or greater.

This is without a doubt my favourite non-creature in Magic: The Gathering. I bet it absolutely rocked in limited/standard, and I'm hoping it gets a reprint one day because wow is it fun

Disa is very usable when you build around combat damage and not around lhurgoyfs is more my point 😅 Coram is great though

I also think trying to add as many battles, kindreds and planeswalkers is a bad idea when lhurgoyfs will consistently be a 5/6 without them. Making at most a 9/10 is cool, replacing those types with cards that further guarantee three 5/6s sounds a bit better to me. I could be wrong though

Disa's without a doubt my favourite commander, but I can't help but feel the first ability is a trap. Milling for free lhurgoyfs/shapeshifters is fantastic, but surely the better option is trying to ramp and play big tramplers to make as many lhurgoyfs as possible? Might try reworking the deck!

I absolutely adore Mirko, but it just feels to slow to keep up with tables even when upgraded. Wondering if making Sefris the commander and putting Mirko in the 99 would be a better idea? It would also open up more blinks for finality counters and even just ETBs without relying on clones

But if you're new to magic, it's also going to take you more time to get to a point you can purchase the entry fee for TMNT compared to Lorwyn. Swings and roundabouts
