make them more inefficient than they were ever accused of being if it really happened. Even though the point of snapshots is to tweak things and improve parity (or even "solve" non issues like this), rather than expecting things to come out the exact expected way which would make testing pointless.
Funny thing is some people think it was patched, when in fact the first iteration on the other Minecraft version just happened to not have the glitch. The lottery wasn't won guys. The stars didn't align. Such a terrible crime that Mojang doesn't have an instant glitch parity policy which would...
I'm hoping they work on the biome's feature generation more. It's a bit sparse currently.
* Pillar generation, similar to basalt deltas
* The surface geysers should also be able to appear underwater
* Potent sulfur can spawn under any water source
Underneath the mysterious Pale Garden, find the aftermath left in its wake, a symptom of its spread...
Welcome to the Pale Grotto.
(Coming soon in the next CliffTree update)
With Vulkan rendering support added in snapshots today, I'm doubling down on my prediction:
I think we'll see VV on Java at Minecraft Live in the fall, possibly for the winter drop.

A basalt deltas biome with water instead of lava in Minecraft
A sulfur cave with delta-like sulfur pillars in Minecraft
Despite the constant ash and lava, basalt deltas seem to have this strange but impeccable hot spring vibe still yet to be captured by other biomes. They're genuinely such a tease. I think similar pillar generation should be incorporated into the new cave biome. #Minecraft #ChaosCubed

I don't know how anyone else feels about this, but to me, sharing a screenshot of chatbot output to make a point of some kind is an excellent way to undermine any credibility that might otherwise be granted to you in the context of whatever you're trying to say.
(Though how they planned to update the Overworld seemed doomed from the start regardless, which is why I still mention it. The drop system proved that small touches to the Overworld are much more effective than a super rare biome.)
While the Wild Update losing half its purpose made it borderline misleading as an update, it was worth it to make the deep dark the best it could be.
And to think that the Ancient City wasn't even part of the original plan as shown in the Caves & Cliffs reveal.
It was just going to be some caves with some sculk and wardens wandering around.
It really has become something bigger.
The deep dark is integral to the Minecraft universe, given MCD received a whole new sequel focused on it.
But remember the original purpose of the update that added it? Suffice to say, that may have been overshadowed by Spring to Life, Armored Paws, and even the literal baby remodel update.
And my point wasn't that almost every drop was more wild than the Wild Update, but that it's funny whenever an update not focused on improving the Overworld does so better than one that does.
It's funny how Minecraft's most content light drop aside from Bundles of Bravery and Bats & Pots did more for the surface than 1.19.
But the drop system proves they have learned their lesson, so I'm not holding it against them. Updates should add features that align with their stated purpose.
What was odd was that they said they were going to focus on the Overworld but barely did, though that's more of a planning issue. Looking at what the recent drops did, including Tiny Takeover, the "Wild Update" barely did anything for the surface. At least we got 2 new building blocks.
bro waited until the film was out and his check was assured. god bless him

Mojang's April Fools updates must be better than what they add to the actual game, because they actually came up with some idea for a large scale inventory update consisting of more than just minor changes and QoL. There was no other way.
Happy Transgender Visibility Day! ๐ณ๏ธโโง๏ธ๐ณ๏ธโ๐
Trans people, I see you. ๐๏ธ
Go out and feast upon transmission fluids and shipping containers!
Public transport will be taken over, and hyperpop will play out of all train intercoms, and it will benefit nobody!
This is my promise to you! โ๏ธ
One oddly specific detail I've noticed about the pale garden is that all cave biomes can generate under it. It's actually the biome that has the most correlation with cave biomes beneath it.
And the sulfur caves are no exception.
Downloaded!
I finally got around to finishing this data-pack; it's posted on Modrinth now :D
The Tower Lore Analysis that the masses voted for must be delayed! This week's Tower simply isn't optimal for acquiring the necessary footage!
However, in the meantime, I have another video in mind. Nothing lore related, but more focused on... game design.
Stay tuned!

Minecraft looks so much nicer with minimal brightness
Take the soul sand valley for example. It's quite flat but actually has small touches and details that make it more distinct aside from its soil layer. Fossils, basalt strands, crimson roots, no glowstone clusters, and they even touched upon it in the drop system with dried ghasts.
I just barely think having two new blocks alternating at the biome's "soil" layer qualifies as a complex new biome. I can also bathe in the lush/dripstone cave pools and feel just as relaxed but with more to look at. The new particle generator and passive slime type is neat though.
My only big issue with Minecraft 26.2:
Lush Caves: Springs, moss, dripleaves, cave vines
Dripstone Caves: Springs, dripstones
Basale Deltas: Springs, basalt spires
Sulfur Caves: Only decoration is springs, so it's currently lackluster and very flat compared to these other biomes
