Nebula traitor...
Spiral beauty M109 shining in Ursa Major 🌌
A barred spiral galaxy around 55 million light years away, with tightly wound arms and a bright central core. Hidden among the stars, but packed with billions more ⭐

Needle Galaxy 🪡- a beautiful edge on spiral seen almost perfectly side on from our viewpoint here on Earth. That bright central bulge is packed with stars, while the thin dark lane is dust blocking the light behind it, giving it that striking needle like appearance. #astro
Absolutely needed the break!
Oh hello Peter! It's been a while!
What do you shoot with?
Haha thank you! Im here for those vibes!
Its been anlong time! I found it easier on our DSLR tbh Rob!
My favourite Moony collaboration with myself. There was no plan behind this, we just had a run of clear nights and went back to capture her each evening. I put together what we had and fell in love ❤️

Well almost... he's going to the school where I teach haha so I can keep a close eye
Congratulations 🎊
He's only 2 but will be going to nursery in September. He will be one of the youngest as he's a summer baby 👶 glad you are well
Thanks Stan
Hi Rob, thank you! Im hoping for more data as I think it will be a nice image when finished. We are all well thank you! Little one starts school in September, not ready for it! Well he is, im not! How are you?
I usually aim for a Hubble. Shooting in SHO filters 🤪
Another 3hrs (1hr per filter) on the Spider nebula this week. 🕷 #astrophotography #space
Feels good to get fresh data on a brand new target 😌
It's been a long time coming...
Spider nebula is our current target but we will lose it from our view soon. Sadly we need SO much more data on this...so maybe a no go until next year.
Here is a rough process of the data so far though

Another stunning installation by Luke Jerram.
The texture looks incredible and the added light for movement makes it just 🤌🏻 #sun #art #solar
The skies have been truly awful 😖 so we have found some untouched data we captured several weeks apart and slung it together. I processed it last night, resulting in this version of the Rosette Nebula. Hope you like it #astrophotography #space #sciart
Two nebulae framed together, the Jellyfish and the Monkey Head. The bright star by the Jellyfish is Propus. #Astronomy #Astrophotography
