I think it's best to wait until everything is ready. If I had them shipped separately, the shipping costs would add up quite a bit.
I'm in no rush, so I'm happy to wait as long as it takes. 😊

However, since I only provided information and translation support and wasn't involved in reviewing the final liner notes, I don't know exactly how much has changed from the previous edition.
If you're the type of person who wants to know more than just what's on screen, you should definitely buy this. As I mentioned before, new information has been added to the liner notes, and inaccuracies from the previous Blu-ray edition have been corrected.
Not sure if I’ll get it. I have all of these already in blu ray. But the next set I’ll definitely need since I have a few of those on DVD. But like with Patlabor, still tempted to double dip

Once, I submitted a manuscript a full six months before the event was scheduled to take place, and the staff at the printing company tilted their heads in confusion and asked, "The event is still quite a way off……did you make a mistake on the publication date?"
It's often said among Japanese otaku that "the secret to finishing a doujinshi is to apply for the event first. That way, the doujinshi will be ready by the day of the event."
I take the exact opposite approach.
Once that's complete, I intend to apply to participate in the August 30 event.
If I don't make it in time for the application deadline (July 17), I'll skip the August 30 event and apply for the one on January 10 instead.
Aside from May 6, Lupin events are scheduled for August 30 in Tokyo and January 10 in Osaka.
Once I finish the episode I'm currently working on, I plan to draw a new one for the August 30 event.
This exactly vibes right before a doujinshi event.
I'm starting to see a mix of people cheering that they made the deadline for the May 6 event and others screaming that there are only a few days left until it.
To be honest, the Japanese calendar is a bit complicated and a hassle, even for Japanese people. lol
During Za Talk, it was mentioned that Tomonaga and Yokobori would be leaving the Lupin series after The Immortal Bloodline.
Also, 令和6年6月6日 is June 6, 2024.
Since I'm one of the participants, I can check it right now for free as long as I meet certain conditions—without having to pay. So, I checked it out. There is a total of 29 circles.
The list of participating circles for the Lupin event on May 6 has been released.
If you pay the fee (330 yen), you can view the list right away. If you wait until May 1, you can view it for free.

It's a great manga, I can't wait to read it in print!
If you have any questions about creating the manuscript files or design options, feel free to ask!👍
The booth numbers for the Lupin event on May 6 have been announced. I need to start making all the necessary preparations.
If you really want to place an order, just let me know. As long as you send me the files, I can submit them to the printer on your behalf. 👍
Also, there are also CD-shaped charms. This merchandise is sure to be a hit with otaku in their 30s and 40s.

It would look great with retro anime and manga, wouldn't it?
I don't usually order merch from doujin printing companies since it's a hassle to draw art specifically for it, but I do enjoy looking at this kind of stuff.

We need to make sure there's enough wall space to display this.
It's a jelly-like candy called "Kohakutou/Amber Candy."

It looks so pretty and delicious that I feel both "I want to eat it" and "I don't want to eat it" at the same time.
It's almost lunchtime, so I haven't eaten the candy yet. But it looks so pretty that I feel bad eating it. lol

I'm glad to be of help to Lupin fans in English-speaking countries! 😊
Oh, I see. In Tokyo, I'd definitely recommend Nakano Broadway.
Have a nice trip!

Also, Okayama is home to one of Japan's leading used bookstores. It carries first editions of Osamu Tezuka's works and anime magazines from the Showa era.

Apparently, some people even publish doujinshi just to use their favorite binding options. It's a world with a lot of depth.
It's fun to browse through the list of binding options offered by doujinshi printing companies. But when it comes time to place an order, I end up thinking, "Foil stamping is… too flashy. Enamel coating… I can't think of anywhere to apply it," so I always end up going with a simple binding.
